So in Janurary I traveled on down to Atlanta to teach class and do some photo shoots. While there I also attened the Mechancial Masquerade, on Sat. Jan.16th, that was put on by the Syrens of the South. Oooo it was beautiful! There were great tunes spun out by Dr. Q, wonderful performances by Talloolah Love and Stormy Knight and an mouth watering array of wares. I had the chance to procure a wonderful Ice Raygun from Venusian Airship Pirate Trading Co. I purchased the little object of delight for Professor von Teasa's Birthday, to his immiment wonderment. I also had the chance to have a bit of a photo shoot with Sumgmug Photography at LeahandMarck.com.,
On Sunday I taught a class to the Syrens of the South Burlesque Students. A class on Hose Removal. It's one of my favorites in Burlesque. I love to watch it done and to add it into any number that I can. You can say alot in your number with how you take your hosiery off. I love it! Later that evening I had a photohoot with Roy Varga who was taking a little tour around the South and I thought to myself...self you need an awesome Birthday gift. So I gots me one. I cannot wait to see the finished pics.,
Whille there I got to spend time with both Talloolah Love and Kathering Lashe, since they decieded to split my crash time between them. Ahh I love them both and they are both wonderful hostessess. We wathced bad movies, drank champagne and they took me to the Famers Market, where I proceeded to spack many a forgien melon. What can I say I can't help myself. Katherine ans I went on a Gat Date to A Gay Go-Go Bar with some birthday guests that she had met earlier that day....yes it is that convoluted. LOL.,
One the last day, we preped for the Atlanta Photographers Guild shoot. That was way more fun then I have ever had on a photo shoot...or was that the beer talking? Anyway, it was wonderful and all the photographers, newbies, and professional alike were extremely nice. Some of my new favorite pictures have come from them. Thanks guys! Thank you also to Talloolah Love and Katherine Lashe for hosting me and showing me about. I hope to see you again in March!
